DART Paratransit Service

Dial-A-Ride Transportation (DART) is Community Transit's paratransit service for people whose disability or condition prevents them from using the regular bus. DART paratransit service can pick up or take a qualified customer to or from locations within 3/4 of a mile of a Community Transit local, non-commuter bus route, during the hours that the bus route runs in that area.

After the Feb. 20 service change, DART will be impacted in several ways:

  • DART will no longer operate in areas where regular local bus service has been eliminated.
  • DART will no longer operate late at night when regular local bus service has ended (by 11 p.m.).
  • DART will no longer operate on Saturdays in areas where regular local bus service has been eliminated.
  • DART will now serve areas where new regular local bus service has been added.

The DART Service Map shows where the various impacts to DART service occur:

  • Areas where DART service remains the same (except for late-night service hours) are shown in green.
  • Areas where DART service is eliminated are shown in red.
  • Areas where DART will no longer operate on Saturdays are shown in orange.
  • Areas new to the DART service area are shown in blue.
