
With ever-increasing demand for access to service, Community Transit is building a new park & ride at Cedar Avenue and Grove Street.
Construction began in early July. The lot should be open for service on Nov. 30. Click here to track our progress through our photo gallery.
The facility will have 213 parking spaces, plus additional parking for motorcycles and bicycles. The boarding area will feature a large shelter and the entire lot will have lighting, landscaping and security cameras.
Located on existing commuter bus routes and close to many businesses, the new facility will make it easy for area residents to ride the bus to it or to use it as an alternative to the busy park & ride lots at Ash Avenue north and south of Fourth Street. Its central location will make it easy to get to businesses along State Avenue or to take the bus to reach other locations.
