Oxy Gene and Double Tall Bus Kick Off Summer

Community Transit’s Summer Festivities Start with Marysville Strawberry Festival, June 16

Snohomish County, Wash. – With summer fast approaching, Community Transit is busy planning outreach at a number of community events. The agency often sets up tables at fairs or festivals to hand out information and talk about its service, and makes appearances at parades and community events to remind Snohomish County residents of their public transportation agency.

While more activities may be added, the events planned so far kick off with superhero Oxy Gene (“Defender of truth, justice and really clean air”) and one of the agency’s Double Tall double decker buses at the Strawberry Festival Grand Parade in Marysville at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 16.
