Help: Planning a trip

Back to Trip Planner

To create a trip plan you need to enter both a starting location (origin) and an ending location (destination) and specify the details of your trip via the form above. Once you are complete, simply click the Plan Trip button.

The Trip Planner recognizes most street intersections and addresses as well as many landmarks in King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties and Community Transit Stop IDs provided on our blue bus stop signs located at each of our bus stop locations.

If what you entered is not immediately recognized, the Trip Planner will offer you a list of options. You can choose one of the options to continue or select the "Revise Original Entries" link to return to the main trip planner form.

Helpful Tips

Stop IDs

Community Transit's trip planner also provides the capability to plan a trip from one of our bus stops. Simply enter in the four-digit numeral printed in large type located on the post of our bus stop signs located at each stop.
