Transit services for all riders

Welcome aboard! Community Transit helps people living with physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities get from where they are to where they want to be. We work to remove barriers to travel to help each rider feel comfortable and safe aboard our buses and vans.

  • Service or guide animals are allowed on all Community Transit buses. Learn more.
  • Guidelines for bringing a wheelchair, scooter, or other mobility device on fixed-route and DART services can be found on the Accessible Service Options page.
  • Riders with disabilities qualify for reudced ORCA rates

    Buses and bus stops

Bus stops, transit centers, and buses are ADA accessible to meet the needs of all riders. Our buses are equipped with a ramp, with seats reserved for older adults and riders with disabilities. Drivers are trained to secure mobility devices and can answer many rider questions.

Riders with disabilities can use a Regional Reduced Fare Permit (RRFP) to get discounted fares on regional transit services, including Community Transit buses, Sound Transit trains, Link light rail, Washington State Ferries, and more. Medicare card holders can also get an RRFP. Riders must use an ORCA card to get the discounted fare.
